Tall riding boots will be 1 - 1 1/2" too tall when you first put them on. The ankle area of the boot must soften and begin to wrinkle. As it wrinkles the boot will drop.
Do not put these boots on and go to a show all day. Break them in first. We suggest you walk around in them with the zipper down 1-2 inches. This will allow you to start breaking in the ankle without the boot jabbing you in the back of the knee.
Once mounted, pull the zipper up and go into the ring.
Leather softens as it is used.
Please measure your calf while wearing breeches to determine correct calf width when ordering.
